About Lit Youth AI
Where technology meets heart — empowering underserved communities with the AI literacy skills they need to thrive.
Who we are
Lit Youth AI was founded by AnnaMarie Callanta; an MBA graduate, certified AI Model Evaluation Specialist, and educator with over 14 AI certifications and several years teaching in underserved classrooms. After 15 years in financial and technology systems with some of the biggest organizations, she saw firsthand how quickly AI was reshaping every industry and how the communities she grew up in were being left out of the conversation entirely.
Why This Matters
The AI Literacy Gap is Real
While some kids are learning to build AI, others don't even know it exists. We're here to change that equation.

Our Mission
To democratize AI education by bringing hands-on, engaging, and affordable AI literacy programs to underserved K-8 students and families in the Inland Empire and beyond.
"Every child deserves to understand the technology shaping their future — not just consume it, but create with it."
Our Vision
A future where every child, regardless of zip code or family income, has the AI literacy skills to compete, create, and lead in the technology-driven world.
"We're not just teaching AI. We're opening doors that were never supposed to exist for these kids."
Our Core Values
These principles guide everything we do at Lit Youth AI.
Hands-On Learning
Less lecture, more creation. Students learn by building, not just watching.
Community Partnership
We work with local organizations to bring programs where families already gather.
Ethical AI
We teach responsible AI use, critical thinking, and digital citizenship.
Equity First
No student turned away. Ever. Financial barriers should never block access to education.
